The Role

OTE: £35,000
Basic: £28,000 +/-
Bonus: Performance related and paid monthly.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking to strengthen our Digital Marketing team off the back of significant recent growth. This is a really exciting opportunity to work across a range of digital channels and drive revenue and awareness to an exciting brand focused on sustainability.
Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director you’ll be responsible for overseeing the companies acquisition marketing plan. You’ll manage our internal marketing team and oversee campaigns end to end.
Whilst supporting the team in creating engaging content tailored to specific audiences, geared to improve conversions and reach more new customers.
This is a hands-on role, you’ll manage budgets and targets, as well as implementing campaigns end to end ensuring consistency across channels. You’ll work closely with our company directors to drive growth through existing paid acquisition channels, whilst piloting potential new channels to reach more new customers.
You’ll work with our editorial team, and senior management to report on results on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis. Tracking Paid, Affiliate and Influencer KPI’s to understand which initiatives drive revenue and customer behaviour and improve campaign performance.
Key Skills and Experience
- An organised, analytical approach to marketing
- A relentless desire to improve key KPIs
- Experience collaborating with and managing digital agencies
- Experiencing managing PPC, Paid Social and Affiliate campaigns
- A proven background in delivering digital projects in an ecommerce setting
- A proven track record of producing digital projects on time and to budget
- Experience using Shopify
- The ability to work independently and own your area of the business
- Experience managing marketing teams.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
- Be able to manage data efficiently
- Curate and manage newsletter campaigns
- Enthusiastic and engaging individual, with a high level of integrity and responsibility
- Have an eye for detail and a solid understanding of brand and tone of voice
Desirable Skills and Experience
- A natural interest in sustainability
- A natural interest in surf culture
- A natural interest in the Wavelength brand
- Software understanding of Harvest, Slack, Google Suite, Google AdWords, WordPress, Facebook, MailChimp
