- Applied experience working in event based marketing
- Experience in digital marketing to a B2B audience.
- 3+ years working a senior marketing position
- Relevant marketing qualifications

What We Are Looking For
A highly motivated Head of Marketing to lead Blue Earth marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid media channels.
Overall Objective
Working alongside company directors and an assembled Blue Earth team, we are on a mission to establish Blue Earth Summit as the leading impact summit for purpose led business.
Milestones
- Increase awareness and reach of Blue Earth Summit
- Build Blue Earth’s online audience and increase engagement.
- Build Blue Earth investor network.
- Communicate success stories
- Develop Blue Earth sub brands (Futures, Unplugged, BE100)
Responsibilities
- Lead the Blue Earth marketing team.
- Lead end to end marketing campaigns.
- Brainstorm new and creative marketing strategies.
- Identifying short and long-term marketing opportunities.
- Use data, numbers and analytics to define marketing insights and advantages.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and
- Assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Update, add to and maintain the Blue Earth website.
- Further develop Blue Earth e-marketing strategy and lead implementation.
- Draft short-form and long-form copy that builds excitement and desire.
- Establish Blue Earth’s social media presence (Linkedin, Twitter, FB, Insta)
- Build an active Blue Earth Community (speakers, partners, delegates).
- Where necessary work with external marketing agencies (Content, PR, Paid)
- Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimise user funnels.
- Build, engage and convert Blue Earth audience into ticket holders.
- Inspire the team around you to be creative, analytical, problem solving and positive.
Key to Success
- Collaborate with the wider team.
- Come up with ideas and manage them through to completion.
- Understand the target audience, know the market and communicate Blue Earth’s competitive advantages.
- Include clearly defined value propositions at all stages of the customer journey.
Reporting
Put data at the heart of marketing decisions on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Work with the digital team to set up marketing dashboards.
- Set achievable digital targets (digital/social/first party data),
- Report on audience progress
- Implement creative marketing solutions that continue to build and demonstrate momentum.
